Volume of a rectangular prism

The volume of a rectangular prism is found by multiplying its length, width, and height.

\large\tt\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:V=l* w* h

  • \tt V=l* w* h

  • \tt V=8m* 4.5m * 6m

  • \tt V={216m^3}

Therefore, the volume of a rectangular prism is 216m³

Another formula can be used if the area of the base (B) is given.

\large\tt\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:V=B* h

  • \tt V = B * h

  • \tt V = 36m^2* 6m

  • \tt V = {216m^3}

Therefore, the volume of a rectangular prism is 216m³
