How can you classify a Volcanic that has a record of Volcanic Eruption?​

A volcano that has erupted a very long time ago is to be erupted again in the future. Volcanos that are extinct don’t usually erupt and is less likely for that to happen but it is still possible. So you would classify them as active volcanos because they have a record of volcanic eruptions. Also dormant volcanos are the ones who haven’t erupted in a very long time.
