Which came first the color orange or the fruit.

My personal theory is that the color orange came first due to there being billions of stars in just our galaxy. Most stars are orange/yellow. To add to my theory there is an abundance of planets that are the color orange. So this should be an easy question to answer or is it? Let me know your thoughts

i would say the color just because we didn’t have a word to label it first doesn’t mean it didn’t exist first. the world was here before us therefore leaving many many things to become orange before the fruit so the color
