Explanation:
x1 = -5, x2 =3 , y1 = -4 , y2=1
formula = square foot of (x2 -x1)^2 + (y2 -y1)^2
sqare root of (3 +5)^2 + (1 +4)^2
square root of (8)^2 + (5)^2
square root of 64 + 25
square root of 89
= 9.43
