Explanation:

In order to determine how far the wheel travels, we will have to find the circumference of the wheel. This is expressed as;

Circumference of the wheel = 2πr

r is the radius of the wheel = 9in

Substitute

Circumference of the wheel = 2(3.14)(9)

Circumference of the wheel = 56.52inches

Hence the wheel travels 57inches to the nearest inch
