Pythagorean theorem is used to solve for a missing side of a right (90 degree) triangle. The theorem states that (hypotenuse)^2=(side one)^2 + (side two)^2.
So plug in your terms to get (hypotenuse)^2= 49 + 576

hypotenuse)^2= 625
Do square root of each side to get
Hypotenuse =25 in
That is the value for your missing side.

Answer:

okay the pythagorean therom is A2 + B2 = C you

now plug in the numbers to the equation

7 squared + 24 squared = 625

49 + 576 = 625

then after that do the square root of 625 and you get 25 so the awnser is 25
