Explain briefly the function of friction ridges on our palm and finger.​

The friction aids in grasping and walking. The friction ridge skin also contains numerous sweat glands, and the pore openings are located along the tops of the ridges. The friction ridge skin does not contain sebaceous (oil) glands or hair follicles.
