We know

  • Diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other
  • ST=TQ

Equate

  • 5x+1=2(x+5)
  • 5x+1=2x+10
  • 3x=9
  • x=3

TQ=2(3+5)=16

  • SQ=2(16)=32

Answer:

  • B. 32

Explanation:

Diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

T is the midpoint of SQ, so:

  • ST = TQ
  • 5x + 1 = 2(x + 5)
  • 5x + 1 = 2x + 10
  • 5x - 2x = 10 - 1
  • 3x = 9
  • x = 3

Find SQ

  • SQ = 2(ST) = 2(5*3 + 1) = 2(16) = 32

Correct choice is B
