Given

Volume = 7433in³

Required

base d = 2r

r is the radius

get the radius r

7433 = 3.14 * 14r²

7433 = 43.96r²

r² = 7433/43.96

r² = 169.08

r = 13.00

Since the base d = 2r

d = 2(13)

d = 26in

Hence the base of the cylinder is 26in
