Diego: 4/3

Lin: 10/3

Explanation:

To find MAD, you calculate the mean of the data sets (which you were given in this case), and then find the distance of each number in the data set from the mean. You then write all the distances down, and then find the mean of THAT. Now you have your MAD.

Example (Jada)

Data set: 4,4,4,6,6,6

Mean: 5

Distances: 1,1,1,1,1,1

Mean of distances (and therefore the MAD):

(1+1+1+1+1+1) divided by 6 = 1
