A. A hen and a rooster produce 15 red offspring and 49 black offspring. What are the phenotypes and the genotypes of the parents? (HINT: Think about what ratio 49 black to 15 red is closest to in order to determine the parental genotypes.) If this data is correct, why doesn’t it have to be 15 red offspring and 45 black offspring?
