Jim crow wasn't a real person but a character that appeared in comedys cearl box's etc. white supremacists created as a racist depiction of a black man. jim crows name would be used in a set of laws called the Jim crow laws which serrated black people. it got its name from a song called jump Jim crow a performance with a white man wherein a balckface
