how do I solve for something like this and figure out what x equals?​

x=8

Explanation:

first you have to multiply 2 and x and then 2 and 4. You should get 2x + 8. then you should add comon numwrals which would be 5x and 2x to get 7x. your equation should now be 7x + 8= 64. then subtract 8 from 64 to get 56. it should now be 7x = 56. devide 56 by 7 and 7x by 7. your answer is x=8

5 x 10 = 50

50 + 2 = 52
