If you have Rr or RR it’s the lowercase letter. If you have a dominant trait and a recessive trait the recessive trait is hidden because the dominant trait kind of takes over. But if you have let’s say rr then the trait is going to be recessive. You can figure out recessive and dominant by using a punnet square :)
