How many cubic centimeters of air would be needed to completely fill a tennis ball with a diameter of 3 inches? Use 3.14 for \piπ. Round your answer to the nearest whole number.

Explanation:

1 inch = 2.54 cm

3 inches = 3*2.54

3 inches = 7.62 cm

r = d/2

r =7.62 / 2

r = 3.81 cm

V = 4/3 pi r^3

V = 4/3 * 3.14 * 3.81^3

V = 4/3 * 3.14 * 55.31

V = 232

Does seem a bit high but it is what I get.
