First recalling slope intercept form (y=mx+b) you should remember that your 'm' is always going to be your slope.

Now, in this equation the 'm' would be 3x which is going to be the slope

Slope = 3x

To graph this- depending on your educator- you can either use a calculator (like desmos . com) or the other way.

If you can't use a calculator the best way to go around this is to find the x-int. since you already know y (6).

To find x intercept we will plug in 0 for y and then solve for x.

0=3x + 6

(add -6 on both sides)

-6 = 3x

(divide 3 on both sides)

-2 = x

then we would graph that (in the picture)
