Given fraction:

\boxed{ \sf (5)/(6) }

Two different ways to rewrite it :

  • I am using equivalent fraction and percent

As percentage:

\tt (5)/(6)

Calculate the approximate value

\tt \approx \: 0.833333

Round the number to the nearest ten thousandth

\tt0.8333

Write as a decimal fraction

\tt (83.33)/(100)

By definition p/100= p%

= \sf \: 83.33 \%

Equivalent fraction:

Multiply both numerator and denominator by the same number, I am taking 2

\bf (5)/(6) * (2)/(2) \\ \bf \: (5 * 2)/(6 * 2) \\ \bf \: = (10)/(12)
