-2 is rational

This is because every negative integer is a negative rational number.

We know that -1 = -1/1, -2 = -2/1, -3 = -3/1, -4 = -4/1 and so on …….

In other words, any negative integer n can be written as n = n/1, here n is negative and 1 is positive.

So, negative 2 is rational.
