it should be x=-1 since 0= -1

Explanation:

2(3x+1)+2x=8x+1

6x+2+2x=8x+1

8x+2=8x+1

8x+2-2=8x+1-2

8x=8x-1

8x-8x=8x-1-8x

0= -1

Answer:

2(3x+,1)+2x=8x+1

=6x+2+2x=8x+1

=8x+2=8x+1

=2-1=8x-8x

=1=x

So x=1
