I need help plz!!! were making a project on world history about world war 2 and we had to make our own character mine is American and I have to wire a diary like if I was in his point of view of how WWII is starting, can someone please help me make a story but at the same time have true WWII events in it.

Some easy topics to write about is serving during D-day and fighting on iwo jima you could also write about just general living conditions around the frontlines and the people and landscapes you see.
