Explanation-
The first step is to find the resistance in the current with 480 volts.
The equation for resistance is= voltage/current(amps)
So the equation would be: 480/12
Solve: 480/12=40 ohms
40 is the resistance
Now you will use this the answer the seconds part.
In the second part you are finding the voltage.
Equation for voltage: V= current x resistance
So the equation would be: 1.5 amps x 40 ohms
Solve: 1.5 x 40= 60 volts
