20% discount and a sales tax of 6.75% is added after the
discount. What is the total cost of the jacket?

Explanation:

First change 20% to a decimal.

Then multiply .20 * 64 = 12.80.

Next do 64 - 12.80 = 51.20.

Now change 6.75% to a decimal which would be 0.0675.

Then do 0.0675 * 51.20 = 3.456.

Now do 3.456 + 51.20 = $54.656.

Then round it to nearst cent if needed. $54.66. And that is your answer.
