9. The wind speed sin miles per hour) near the center of a tornado is related to the distance d(in miles)

the tornado traveled is modeled by the equation s = 93 log10(d) + 65. Find the distance the tornado
traveled if the wind speed was 280 miles per hour.

To solve this we just plug 280 for S and solve for D.

280 = 93log10(d) +65
215/93= 93log10(d)/93
2.3118 = log10(d)
Inverse log10 which is:
d= 10^2.3118
d= 205.02
Distance = 205.02 miles
