I'm looking for an adjective to describe someone essentially uncaring. Daisy didn't attend Gatsby's funeral after years of romance. I've come up with unempathetic, but I think there's a better word.

Apathetic perhaps? Apathy is generally used to refer to the literal lack of empathy and emotion in someone so it seems a fitting choice
