X = √(a^2 + b^2- 2*a*bcos\gamma)

Where


gamma = 56 degrees

a = 20

b = 27

Substituting the given values in above equation, we get -


X = √(20^2 + 27^2 - 2*20*27*cos 56) \\X = 22.91

Hence, the length of side x is 22.91
