Always remember that the three angles of a triangle must add up to 180 degrees. No exceptions for any triangle. With that being known, you know that of the 180 degrees a triangle is supposed to have, 140 degrees is already there (35+105). The remaining degrees left is 40 degrees (180-140). 40 degrees is the measure of the missing angle.
