A cylinder and a cone have the same height and radius.

The height of each is `5` centimeters, and the radius is `2` centimeters.

Calculate the volume of the cylinder and the cone (rounded to the nearest tenth). <-- answer as a decimal, not in terms of pi.

Answer:

Explanation:

Cylinder

Formula

V = pi * r^2 * h

r = 2

h = 5

pi = 3.14

V = 3.14 * 2^2 * 5

V = 62.8 cm^3

Cone

V = 1/3 * pi * r^2 * h

Same answer as the cylinder only take 1/3 of it.

V = 1/3 * 62.8

V = 20.933
