A triangle has an area of 144 square feet. The height is 24 feet. What is the length of the base(in feet)?​

The formula for the area is: base multiply with the height then divide by two (h.b/2)
So we have: h.b/2=Area
24.b/2=144
24.b=144.2
24.b=288
b=288/24= 12
So the base is 12
