2y=33

y=16.5

16.5=-6x-15

16.5+15=-6x

31.5=-6x

x=-5.25

there the number of y and x are 16.5 and -5.25

Answer:

y = 5x + 18.......[1]

y = -6x - 15......[2]

equating equation 1&2 we get

5x+18=-6x-15

5x+6x=-15-18

11x=-33

x=-33/11=-3

x=-3

again

y=5×-3+18=-15+18=3

so,x=-3,y=3
