Y=mx+b is equation form.

Step 1: Calculate slope

Slope= y2-y1/x2-x1
Choose 2 points (8,7) and (0,1)
Apply slope formula: 1-7/0-8=-6/-8=3/4(simplified)
M=Slope
Y=3/4x+B
B=Y intercept: 1

Equation: Y=3/4x+1
