The formula to find the area of a circle is:
Pii * radius*radius (note: * this start symbol means multiply if you don’t know)

All we have to do is substitute in the values.

Steps:
1. 3.14 * 2.8 * 2.8

2. Answer: 24.617

3. Now we have to round them to the nearest tenth.

So the answer rounded will be: 24.62 yd (squared)

Well for these problems you need to know the formula so

First off we have to square the radius thats just a fancy way of saying multiply by itself so 2.8 x 2.8 = 7.84 Now we just multiply that by pi!

so 3.14 x 7.84 = 24.6176 now sense we have to round it our final answer would be 24.6
