Answer: being productive means to work hard and have multiple good outcomes. so if you are being productive in school or work you will be making more than usual good outcomes either in grades on school work or many lets say orders for work. Or you can say you are behind in school and you say you are being productive in school you are getting work done until you are caught up.

Productivity is important because you can get more done. If you're very productive in school, you get a lot of work done and you're paying attention in class and absorbing everything the teacher says.
