Answer:

\displaystyle 19 = y \\ 11 = x

Step-by-step explanation:

A parallelogram has two pairs of congruent edges, so set each pair equivalent to one another:

\displaystyle 54 = 5x - 1 \hookrightarrow (55)/(5) = (5x)/(5) \\ \\ \boxed{11 = x} \\ \\ \\ 92 = 5y - 3 \hookrightarrow (95)/(5) = (5y)/(5) \\ \\ \boxed{19 = y}

I am joyous to assist you at any time.

Answer:

X= 11

Y= 19

Explanation:

each side is congruent to the other. Meaning:

5x-1=54

and

5y-3=92

to find X you need to isolate it, so first add 1 to cancel it out and move it to the other side of equation

[54+1=55]

5x=55

divide by 5

X=11

to find Y you do the same. isolate. So first add 3 to cancel and move to other side of equation.

[92+3=95]

5y=95

divide by 5

Y=19
