Now you need to find the medians of the upper and lower quartiles. Spilt the data set into thirds.

(0,0,1,2),(3,7,8,11),(13,16,27,32)

Now find the medians.

For the lower quartile, the median is 1. For the upper quartile, the median is 12.5 .
