f(x) = (x-a).(x-b). ... (x-r)

Which a, b, ... r are roots

In this case

f(x) = (x+12).(x-7)

But

f(x) = (x-(-12)).(x-7)

Thus roots are

-12 and 7

Distance is the abs function

abs(-12,7) = |-12 - 7| = 19

Ans: 19
