Answer:

B: (-6, -1)

Explanation:

6+x/2 = 0

6+x = 0

x = -6

-5+y/2 = -3

Answer:

(-6,-1)

Explanation:

We can use the midpoint formula here to find the coordinates of B . Given data :-

  • A(6,-5)
  • M(0,-3)

Let B be B(p , q) . Then ,

=> M = ( x₁ + x₂/2 , y₁ + y ₂ /2 )

=> (0 ,-3) = ( 6 + p/2 , -5+q/2)

  • On comparing

=> 0 = 6 + p/2

=> 6 + p = 0

=> p = (-6)

  • Similarly

=> -3 = -5+q/2

=> -5+q = -6

=> q = 5-6

=> q = (-1)

Hence the coordinates of B is (-6,-1) .
