Explanation:

Linear velocity = Distance / time

The distance = Circumference of turbine = 2πr

Radius, r = 40 m

Circumference= 2 * π * 40 = 251.327

The linear velocity is thus :

Circumference / time

= 251.327m / 10s

= 25.13 m/s
