From the Image, we can find the length of the arc of the semi-circle by dividing the circumference of the resulting circle by 2

Radius= 9in

C= 2πr

C=2*3.142*9

C=2*3.142*9

C= 56.556 inches

Hence the length of the arc is

The perimeter of the shape

=50.28 inches
