answers- 7 and 12

if a + b =19
then, a - b =5
so, a= b + 5

if, a = b + 5
then, b + b + 5= 19
(2b) + 5 =1 9
19- a(5)= 14
b= 7
a+7=19
a= 12

Answer:

7 and 12

Explanation:

x - y = 5

y = (5+x)

x+ (5+x) = 19

2x +5 = 19

2x = 14

x = 7

19-7 = 12

12 +7 = 19

12-7 = 5
