It was the day before the big U.S. History test. It was an open-note exam, so if students took good notes, they would probably get a good grade on it. The problem for Helga was that she waited until the last minute to review her notes—and they were terrible. In a panic, she called her best friend, Tracy, and asked her to make a copy of the notes she took so Helga could use the copy to take the test. Tracy always took detailed notes, and Helga knew she would get a good grade if she used the copy of Tracy’s notes. Why is this most likely a dangerous situation for both Helga and Tracy? They would put their education at risk. They would break their parents’ rules. They would put their friendship at risk. They would break the school laws.
