1. How can one’s race, social, and economic status affect the way one views and likes one’s life? Elaborate on your response with examples.

Answer: People are treated poorly based mainly on how they look. For example, racism. In the U.S the beauty standard is a white blond, thin person. Racism first started thousands of years ago, because we put stereotypes on people based on their ethnicity. Social status is a big thing. If you are a more kept and quiet person people may see you as scary or unapproachable. But with a more outgoing person, you are more respected. The more money you have the more people like you supposedly. You can buy better clothes a better house and look more put together. A poor person is seen as greedy or gross. They cant afford the nicer things so they take what they can get.
