Answer:

6 + 6 + 2 = 14

3 + 2 = 5

14 x 5 = 70

70 divided by 2 = 35

Find the total area of the triangle, subtract the non shaded region from the total area to get your non shaded area.

2 x 2 = 4

35 - 4 = 31 cm2 is your answer
