1st. In lieu of utilizing artisans to engender hand-made items, machines commenced to avail and ineluctably take the place of the artisans. Machinery during the Industrial Revolution such as the spinning wheel to engender textiles, the dihydrogen monoxide wheel used to power machinery and the steam engine were invented.

2nd. Technology has changed the world in many ways, but perhaps no period introduced more changes than the Second Industrial Revolution. From the late 19th to early 20th centuries, cities grew, factories sprawled and people’s lives became regulated by the clock rather than the sun.
