14. Is this a VALID or NOT VALID argument?

1. “There were only two rabbits in
the room last week. No rabbit has left the room since then. Therefore, there
are only two rabbits in the room now."
———If we assume that the two premises
are true (even if they are not), do these two premises prove the
conclusion? If so, then the argument is VALID. If not, then the argument is
NOT VALID. —-
2. “All whales have wings. Moby does not have wings. So, Moby is not a whale.”

3. “Socrates is a philosopher. All philosophers like thinking. So Socrates likes thinking.”

4. “Romeo said that everyone loves Juliet. Everything that Romeo has said is false, so nobody loves Juliet.”

5. “If there is life on Mars, then Mars contains water. If Mars has ice, it contains water. There is ice on Mars, so there is life on Mars.”

6. “Our government should either spend less or raise taxes. Raising taxes is impossible, so our government should spend less.”

Answer:

14 - argument is not valid, because what is rabbits were added to the room. It would be more than two rabbits.

All arguments but 5. is not valid, because they are bias info and effort, and knowledge.
