Answer:

y = 3
(2)^(x)

Explanation:

an exponential function in standard form is

y = a
b^(x)

use 2 points to find a and b

using (0, 3 ) , then

3 = a
b^(0) [
b^(0) = 1 ] , so

3 = a

y = 3
b^(x)

using (1, 6 ) , then

6 = 3
b^(1) = 3b ( divide both sides by 3 )

2 = b

y = 3
(2)^(x) ← is the exponential function
