We will solve it using the trigonometric ratio i.e. SOH


\boxed{ \sf \: \sin( \theta) = (opposite)/(hypotenuse) }

In our case,

  • Opposite = 20
  • Hypotenuse = 25


\tt \sin( \theta) = (20)/(25)


\tt \sin( \theta) = (4)/(5)


\tt \theta = \arcsin( (4)/(5) )


\tt \theta = 53.1 \degree

  • ∠A = 53° (when rounded off)
