Answer:

D

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Here m =
(2)/(3) , then

y =
(2)/(3) x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (3, - 4) into the partial equation

- 4 = 2 + c ⇒ c = - 4 - 2 = - 6

y =
(2)/(3) x - 6 ← in slope- intercept form

Multiply through by 3 to clear the fraction

3y = 2x - 18 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

- 2x + 3y = - 18 ( multiply through by - 1 )

2x - 3y = 18 ← in standard form → D
