Step 2. Multiply -4 by -2.... you get 8
Step 3. Equation will be -4y+8=12
Step 4. Subtract 8 from 8 and 12
Step 5. Equation will be -4y=4
Step 6. Divide 4 by both sides
Step 7. Answer is y=-1
