The components of a surgical package (or global surgery) include:
a. preoperative E/M services; local infiltration, metacarpal/digital block, or topical anesthesia; surgical procedure performed; and treatment of surgical complications
b. local infiltration, metacarpal/digital block, or topical anesthesia; surgical procedure performed; preoperative E/M services; and normal, uncomplicated postoperative care
c. surgical procedure performed; preoperative E/M services; normal, uncomplicated postoperative care; and treatment of surgical complications
d. normal, uncomplicated postoperative care; surgical procedure performed
