⇒ x = 11.20/32

⇒ x = 0.35

By putting the value of x in equation (1),

We get, 14 × 0.35 + 5 y = 12

⇒ 4.9 + 5 y = 12

⇒ 5 y = 7.1

⇒ y = 1.42

Thus, the cost of one postcard = $ 0.35

And, the cost of each large envelope = $ 1.42
